Soul Portals
Soul Portals is a series of 1314 modular posters and 8 1/1 unique pieces done for Introverts, a digital collectibles project.
The references ranged from the occult, vintage tarot cards to tattoo and surreal scenery.
These represent the journey to your inner self through a portal that invites you to an adventure within.
The complexity of the project lies in creating modular posters that with more than 250 individual traits varying the positioning, illustration itself and color to make up the whole generative collection.

The complexity of the project lies in creating modular posters that with more than 250 individual traits varying the positioning, illustration itself and color to make up the whole generative collection.
A great portion of projects like this is testing all the combinations possible between individual traits to avoid conflicts and correct possible positioning errors.

Structure
The collection revoles around 26 different types of main portals that are the center piece of the composition, with another 200+ supporting traits divided into other 7 categories and ranked my rarity based on specific combinations.

Unique posters
There were also 8 unique posters designed with a set of themes paying tribute to pop references and nostalgia. These are called 1/1 in the web3 space, as none of the traits are present in other posters.
Sketching & Process
First the basic structure of the poster was decided with the making of the first poster to see how each section would behave, than the iteration to create all the other assets took place until we reached a total of around 300 unique illustrations that would make the the other posters.
After the sketching phase (blue linework) we moved to some color testing and then adding shadows and color treatment.

The first poster
The "pilot" worked as a guide for future ideas and concepts within the collection and helped the team better understand the needs of each section of the poster and how it interacted with the others, making it possible to identify possible conflicts and possibilities.
